Former Ukrainian President Viktor Yushchenko
Viktor Yushchenko served as the third president of Ukraine from 2005 to 2010. He rose to prominence during the 2004 Orange Revolution, which followed a disputed presidential election and widespread protests over electoral fraud and intimidation. As president, he pursued closer ties between Ukraine and Europe. Since leaving office, Yushchenko has remained active in public life and has been an outspoken critic of Russia’s aggression against Ukraine.
